Who |
Agility for fun is open to all dogs and their handlers. Agility is a dog sport in which a handler directs a dog through an obstacle course. |
| Focus | This course is for fun and will introduce dogs to several pieces of agility equipment such as the tunnel, jumps, A-Frame, tire jump and more. Focus will be on learning individual pieces of equipment, handling skills, targeting and completing agility obstacle circuits. |

| Owner theory |
Theory for the owner will include how to safety and correctly introduce their dog to the individual pieces of equipment, directional body language, creating drive and targeting. |
| Pre-requisite | It is recommended that dogs complete an obedience class first, so that you build a relationship that will help make your dog successful in agility. |
Agility for Fun Level II

For dogs and owners who have completed Introductory Agility for Fun Level I and want to learn more. |
| Focus | This program will introduce the dog to new pieces of agility equipment. It will also focus on leading dogs through intermediate levels of agility courses. |

| Owner theory |
Theory will include understanding how handler positioning affects the dog's direction through the agility course. Owners will also start to develop course memorization skills, and start to learn how to read an agility course. |
Agility for Fun Level III
''The sky is the limit!''

For dogs and owners who have completed Agility for Fun Level II and want to learn more. |
| Focus | This program will introduce the dog to advanced pieces of agility equipment. It will also focus on leading dogs through advanced levels of agility courses. An strong emphasis is placed on handler technique. |

Theory will include learning how to negotiate difficult course sequences and effectively using crossovers. |
Agility for Small Breed Dogs Level I *NEW*

Agility for fun is open to all small breed dogs under 25 lbs and their handlers. Agility is a dog sport in which a handler directs a dog through an obstacle course. |

For children aged 7 to 14 yrs |
| Focus | This course is designed to introduce junior handlers to the sport of dog agility. They will learn to use the agility equipment, practice handling skills and how to put it all together to lead their dog through prepared agility circuits. Agility is a fun way for kids and dogs to spend time together while building confidence and self esteem. |
| Course duration | 4 week course |
| Owner theory |
Theory will include learning the basic rules of agility, as well as safe handling techniques over the equipment. |
| Pre-requisite | Dogs must complete a Basic Obedience course prior to being admitted into this course. Children must be able to control the dog on leash at all times. |
Fly Ball Level I & II

Who |
Fly ball is open to all dogs and their owners. Fly ball is a dog sport in which teams of dogs race against each other over a line of hurdles/jumps to a box which releases a tennis ball to be caught when the dog presses the spring loaded pad on the fly ball box then back to their handlers. |
| Focus | Fly ball for fun will introduce the dog and the owner to the sport of fly ball. Instruction will include targeting, creating drive, the use of the fly ball box, jumping over the hurdles/jumps, and recall exercises. |

| Level II |
Pre-requisite for Level II is Level I Fly Ball |

Theory will include learning the basic rules of agility and safe handling over obstacles. |
Introductory Rally O (Rally Obedience)

Who |
For dogs with a basic obedience level that would like to add a little variety to their training! |
| Focus | Rally O is the next big thing in dog sports! Rally O goes beyond the typical obedience class by incorporating up to 40 preset movements through a planned course. Dog and owner, at their own pace, complete the course of designated stations. Each station has a sign providing instructions describing the skill that is to be performed. Rally O is a fun and challenging way to improve your dog's obedience! |

Theory will include learning the various Rally O exercises. Working with different course layout and designs while improving and proofing basic obedience commands. |

All courses are 1 hour in length once a week for 6 weeks (unless otherwise indicated) |
| Bring | Your dog (just a reminder!) A copy of the most recent vaccination certificate (for the first class or upon registration) Treats A squeaky toy A 6 foot leash (extendable leashes are not permitted in any of the courses) |
| Wear | Comfortable clothing and shoes |
| Who | All are welcome. Young children are welcome to participate in the training courses but for safety must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. |
| Course Size | All courses are limited to 10 dogs. So book early! |
All your training needs such as treats, leads, collars, clickers and toys are available in our Dog Shops.
